2nd
Graduation Day at SJEC on 29th March 2008 |
| From the
Chief Patron's Desk...
“Well begun
is half done” may be an old saying used many times. But in
reality it is a truth. This is the first step of SJECMAA
to build a family network among the members, to share
information and to support the Alma matter. It is my duty
to thank Prof. Dayananda Shetty from the Electronics &
Communication Engineering department for taking initiative to
bring out the first copy of the alumni newsletter together with
the alumni staff working in the college. I hope and wish
this newsletter will gain momentum and achieve its goal for all
the Engineering Josephites
spread over the world.

| From the
Patron's Desk.....
The whole
length of journey from the day of entry into the portals of the
college and till we leave the portals with a honorable degree
bears a testimony of achievement, is a time that is worthy
enough to remember a life time.
It is a great
feeling and satisfaction that whatever we are, we were formed
by the great teachers and the Institution. Therefore, we owe our
teachers and our Institution love and respect. Many great
persons in the world have been molded in the same way as you
have been, and they have revisited their institutions to recall
the nostalgic moments of their student life.
You are
always welcome to your Alma Mater, to share your views,
experiences and challenges you faced in life with all of us
here, we love to hear you. Your continued association with your
loving college will enrich our bond of love. On this great day
of Annual College day/Graduation day we are committing this “SJECMAA
news”,
as an umbilical cord to keep you connected with us for ever.

Principal- SJEC |

My desire of becoming a professional in life took
shape with the quality education and intense training.
According to me, professionalism is the dictum that
sanctifies a working atmosphere and its employees to
bring out the maximum efficacy to the satisfaction of
the customer and It should be initiated at the helm ship
and be practiced down till the last tier of service
The promises and goodwill intended by
professionalism should be implemented by the next
generation who should bear the torch of this idea to

I as
Program Manager, at Dreamsoft Technologies have to manage the
human resources towards the various tasks of business
development. In the recent years the analytical and problem
solving skills are lacking in today's generation of Engineers.
Patience is a virtue which is also sought after in the
professional services sector industries like ours. A student
just out of Engineering has big dreams and a zeal to make a lot
of money, & this mentality cost the industry called the
Attrition. Hence Institute _ Industry Interaction can combat
this menace by instilling the values such as patience, hard work
and dedication while they are in the institution.

Generally speaking,
teaching is seen as doing-as behaviors and actions which lead to
learning. Working with pupils is very rewarding and each day is
different.
The goal which guides
the growth of my teaching skill is, in the classroom, I believe
in the need for an accessible style and open communication. I
work hard to utilize methods which stress informal communication
to build trust with the students and open lines of
communication. |
|
|
|
When I teach, I
communicate, I feel very happy and nice. I enjoy teaching and
being with the students.
Teaching
strengthens my subject knowledge and widens my scope for
search of knowledge.
Teaching increases
my interest to make an experiment and do research.
