Mathematics

The DEPARTMENT OF MATHEMATICS was established in the year 2002 and has senior and experienced faculty together with young, dynamic faculty members. We form a department of dedicated teachers with teaching experiences ranging from 3 years to 35 years. One of our senior faculty member has very rich experience of teaching Post-Graduate students for more than 30 years. Our department has another very senior faculty member with more than 35 years of teaching experience, and also having administrative experience as Vice-Principal of a degree college. Presently he is serving our institution as Dean- Planning and Development. Our department has one Ph.D holder and 10 master degree holders. Presently one of our faculty members is pursuing his Ph.D studies in Manglore University.

Our department provides a strong foundation of Mathematical basics which are building blocks of all subjects of Engineering fields. We also teach very essential subjects of M.B.A , M.C.A, M.Tech. which are helpful for these masters degree students. We teach some special subjects for Computer Science and Information Science students like Discrete Mathematical Structures and Graph Theory. A good number of Computer Science students are opting for mathematical subjects as their electives in higher semesters.
