Electrical & Electronics Engineering
With the objective of making graduates industry ready, the department modernized all laboratories using industry standards equipment such as Contractors. The Power System Protection Relay Laboratory is the only one it's kind in an educational institute in the entire country. Two Labs: Reverse Engineering, and Robotics have been setup in addition to VTU requirements, providing graduates a wide base in engineering. Special laboratory sessions are conducted for the first year students to orient them towards engineering principles and practices.

Programme Educational Objectives
  • Preparation: To develop skills in students for successful careers in industry that meet the needs of Indian and multinational companies, through global, rigorous education
  • Core Competence : To provide students with the solid foundation in mathematical, scientific, Electronics and Electronics engineering to analyze data and technical concepts for application to product design and also to pursue higher education.
  • Breadth: To train students with good scientific and engineering breadth, including proficiency in software language and use of latest software tools so as to comprehend, analyze, design and create novel products and solutions for the real life problems.
  • Professionalism: To inculcate in students professional and ethical attitude, effective communication skills, teamwork skills, multidisciplinary approach, and an ability to relate engineering issues to broader social context.
  • Learning Environment: To provide students with an academic environment aware of excellence, leadership, written ethical codes and guidelines, and the life-long learning needed for a successful professional career.
