St Joseph Engineering College has a vibrant and dedicated faculty who has consistently defied all odds to bring laurels to the institution. While most of the faculty is young and bounding with energy, there are enough of seasoned stalwarts around to guide them in the right directions.

SJEC believes in a hands-on approach to education and therefore all the faculty are encouraged to give personal attention to each student through mentoring and counselling. The average staff-student ratio stands at 1: 12 (as of September 1 st 2012), which is better than 1: 15 that is mandated.
